Blue Line Rogue tells the true story of corruption and crime in a small South GA town. It primarily concerns the town of Poulan, Georgia, and controversies surrounding it’s police department. From key eye-witnesses who were involved, and the police officers who worked there, this book gives a real-life view of police corruption in America. The author is a police officer and military veteran who has done multiple interviews related to his anti-corruption stance. Blue Line Rogue focuses on ticket quotas, evidence tampering, and subsequent investigations by Georgia Peace Officer Standards Training; offering the reader a rear inside glimpse into how internal affairs investigations are actually performed. John Masters’ book and interviews describe his experiences as an officer in Poulan and the retaliation he faced after he and another officer attempted to report misconduct. The book will reveal the legal, professional, and personal battles stemming from corruption within Poulan’s police department and the State of Georgia.
“Sunlight is nature’s disinfectant, and this story is an attempt to expose the corruption encountered to the sunlight of public view. With enough exposure, perhaps the disinfecting properties of light will help clean up the corruption uncovered.”
